Codarus - Water Control

Surely by now some of you have seen Codarus and Under Water Ocean Temple and thought "something can happen here." Well here's my first attempt at trying to make this work.

3x A Legendary Ocean
3x Moray of Greed
2x Salvage
1x Brain Control
1x Mind Control
1x Heavy Storm


Traps : 9

3x Underwater Ocean Temple
1x Mirror Force
1x Torrential Tribute
1x Call of the Haunted
2x Widespread Dud
1x Threatening Roar

Extra Deck : 15

2x Ally of Jusctice Catastor
2x Magical Android
1x Zeman
10x Other, mostly centered around level 5 as they will be easier to play

Applying "Opening 100%" Theory to the deck. (Now using Deck-u-lator. One of the most useful things I have ever found on the internet)

Opening 1 - Codarus and ALO/WoA/UOT : 30%

Opening 2 - Ryko : 28%

Opening 3 - Mother Grizzly and ALO/WoA/UOT : 22%

Opening 4 - Diva and Brain/Mind : 9.8%

Opening 5 - Monk w/ Spell and ALO/WoA/UOT : 12%

From looking at that there is a 64% chance of getting the Codurs play set up on my first turn. Pretty useful! Other interesting stats are

Chance to open with ALO/WoA/UOT : 81%

Chance to open with a playable Moray of Greed : 8.2% - Opening with a playable Moray of Greed is just like a mulligan. You get another shot to go in for one of those hands. And more than 64% of the time you'll get the Codarus set up.

Once you factor in Moray turns you have a 69.2% chance to open with combo. That's just awesome!!
